eSUN eStar-PLA è un filamento glow in the dark ad effetto stellato che assorbe energia luminosa durante il giorno e la emette al buio. Il materiale a base di PLA è estremamente facile da stampare ed è ideale per realizzare giocattoli, figurine e oggetti decorativi.
Nota: a causa delle particelle luminose che contiene, eStar-PLA porta a una maggiore usura dell'estrusore e dell'ugello. Per la stampa di eStar-PLA sono quindi consigliati un estrusore a Dual Gear e un ugello in acciaio o rubino.
L'effetto luminoso del materiale dipende dall'intensità e dal tempo di esposizione alla sorgente luminosa. Maggiore è il tempo di irradiazione, migliore sarà l'effetto luminoso.
