X-PLA è una miscela di PLA unica sviluppata da AddNorth.
Il materiale è biodegradabile al 100% e ha un'elevata resistenza agli urti, non presenta fragilità e ha un'ottima finitura superficiale. X-PLA è stato sviluppato per soddisfare le elevate esigenze degli architetti che spesso stampano pareti sottili, ma allo stesso tempo necessitano di una superficie resistente e uniforme.
I modelli finiti realizzati in X-PLA hanno una superficie solida e robusta e sono perfetti per applicazioni tecniche, ma anche per prototipi e figure. Più bassa è la temperatura di stampa di X-PLA, più opaca sarà la superficie del componente.
